The Privatization Program, is one of the executive programs launched by the Council of
Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) to achieve the objectives of Vision 2030. The program seeks
to support the development of the national economy, and enhance the role of the private sector in
the provision of services and the availability of government assets. This will improve in general
the quality of services provided and contribute to the reduction of costs. Furthermore, it will
strengthen the government's focus on its legislative and regulatory role.
In addition, the program seeks to attract local and foreign direct investments.
