Unauthorized or inappropriate use of any of the NCP’s computer systems.

Substance use can be defined as the misuse of drugs, whether legal or illegal, including alcohol. (Examples include: cocaine; narcotic drugs; marijuana; stimulants).

Any verbal or physical conduct that occurs without justification, encouragement and directed at an employee because of gender, religion, ethnicity, or beliefs. (Examples include: bias in recruitment, bias in assignment, arbitrary dismissal, bias in promotions, bias in educational decisions, unfair compensation, and use of inappropriate language.)

Failure to meet the requirements necessary to carry out all tasks in a safe environment. Potential areas of damage. Violence is an expression of intent to harm, injure or damage a person or his/her property. (Examples include: direct, persuasive or conditional violence).

   Bribes
Offer or take, directly or indirectly, any form of illegal bribes or tips to obtain biased treatment or retain an existing job, including offering or authorizing, directly or indirectly, bribes, tips, unreported facilitation payments, gifts or services to any person in charge of authority for the purpose of obtaining or retaining employment, influencing a formal contract or decision, or inducing an employee to do or not to do any act in violation of a person's official duties.

   Safety

Failure to comply with applicable government laws and regulations or failure to fulfill contractual obligations associated with government companies or agencies including any work that does not comply with tender rules, contract terms or applicable regulations and any improper dealings with government or former employees.

Violence is an expression of intent to cause harm, injury or damage to a person or his/her property: (Examples include: direct, persuasive or conditional violence).

Indicates inappropriate giving of gifts, requesting such gifts or accepting objects of more than nominal value from vendors, customers or any third parties as an employee of NCP.

Falsification of records means altering, fabricating, forging or falsifying all or part of a document, contract or record in order to obtain an advantage or to deceive as to the value of the document, contract or record.

Conflict of interest means any event in which a person - such as a government official, worker or professional - has a private or personal interest that appears to affect the objective exercise of his/her official duties. (Examples include: inappropriate relationship with vendors, bribery, misuse of confidential information, inappropriate customer relations.)
