Riyadh, Feb 2022: In line with Saudi Vision 2030, The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), in cooperation with the National Centre for Privatization & PPP (NCP), is pleased to announce the launch of Social Care Homes project (SCHs) Expression of Interest (EOI). The SCHs will deliver residential services, social care, and facilities management services aligned with prevailing international best practices and approaches for delivering such services to people with disabilities. The project provides 150 Social Care Homes within both Riyadh and Jeddah to support 559 individuals with varying degrees of disabilities. The SCHs will support beneficiaries to live quality, meaningful lives, encouraging their autonomy and respecting their lifestyle choices and personal preferences in a “person-centered” approach to care. This initiative comes in line with Saudi 2030 vision and the Ministry’s transition from a service provider to a service regulator.

The Ministry, supported by NCP, has completed all the studies and regulatory preparations to develop the SCHs project in partnership with the private sector under a Purchase-Finance-Maintain-Operate-Transfer (PFMOT) model. 

MHRSD invites interested parties to view the EOI document by visiting the NCP website. The last day to submit an EOI is Sunday, 27/02/2022 at 3:00 pm KSA time.
